What is Pitchit?

Pitchit is an online market for African content and platform for creators and African filmmakers to:

  • to register their scripts, lyrics, drawings, treatments and/or proposals
  • pitch their TV and movie concepts
  • and sell their ready made content or catalogue to

producers, talent, managers, investors, directors, distributors, agents and broadcasters around the world.

The site is custom designed to assist filmmakers perfect their art of pitching to sell their projects. Pitchit offers African filmakers 2 pitch options:

  • written and
  • ‘live’

What this means is that the African filmmaker can upload his/her scripts, treatments, character biographies, project trailers as well as their live-to-camera pitches for interested talent, producers, investors, managers, agents, distributors, directors and broadcasters to view.

For the producer, star, manager, agent, investor, distributor, director or broadcaster, Pitchit is a tool to google African filmmakers and their projects. For the African filmmaker Pitchit is a 24/7 all year round film and content market.
